Ian A. Massar received his undergraduate degree in international affairs from the George Washington University in 2008 and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2012.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Massar served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York, where he investigated and prosecuted a wide array of cases.

Mr. Massar focuses his current practice on maritime litigation - including claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, Defense Base Act and Jones Act - as well as labor and employment and insurance coverage matters.

Mr. Massar is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of New York, including the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also a member of the Aeronautics Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
