Ian A. Massar received his undergraduate degree in international affairs from the George Washington University in 2008 and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2012.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Massar served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York. During his time at the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Massar investigated and prosecuted a wide array of cases, ultimately specializing in long-term investigations into illegal firearm distribution networks and narcotics trafficking organizations. In his current practice, Mr. Massar represents clients in matters arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and Defense Base Act and in proceedings brought pursuant to the War Hazards Compensation Act.

Mr. Massar is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of New York, including the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also a member of the International Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
