Cody LaPoint received his undergraduate degree in Music Industry from Northeastern University in 2015. Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. LaPoint graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2023. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
Before setting his sights on the legal profession, Mr. LaPoint enjoyed a brief time working in the entertainment industry for global entities, helping to bring popular albums, performances, and television shows to market. Throughout his studies at Brooklyn Law School, Mr. LaPoint served on the in-house counsel team for an international startup focusing on digital pathology.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. LaPoint served as a Law Fellow for the New York Waterfront Commission, combatting organized crime, and ensuring the safety of the longshoremen of New York Harbor.
Currently, Mr. LaPoint’s practice focuses on the representation of clients in matters arising under the Defense Base Act and in proceedings brought pursuant to the War Hazards Compensation Act.
