Robert N. Dengler has more than 25 years of experience handling matters arising in a wide range of practice areas, with a focus on defending claims under the Jones Act, the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act. He has tried hundreds of cases, including both bench and jury trials, and has argued numerous appeals before state and federal appellate courts. Mr. Dengler has successfully obtained important appellate decisions that define the limits of coverage under the Jones Act, LHWCA and DBA, and as a nationally recognized expert he frequently lectures and gives counsel on these and other topics.
