Kenneth M. Simon, a partner of the firm, handles matters arising in a broad spectrum of practice areas, including: commercial litigation; insurance defense and coverage; personal injury; claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, War Hazards Compensation Act, and Jones Act; maritime and admiralty law; commercial and residential real estate; small business practice; and trade secrets.Mr. Simon joined the firm in 1995. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey, as well as in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Ninth and Federal Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Simon is a graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law (J.D., 1994) where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and Sport and Entertainment Law Society. He received a Master of Education degree from Temple University in 1991, after graduating in 1989 from Rowan University, where he was Captain of the university's nationally ranked soccer team and an Academic All-American.
